Wow. A recycling plant with a windmill to generate 4% of the energy that it needs to sort materials and get them ready for market. Great idea with a projected ROI of 20%. Not bad economics.
So, while Sims is processing New York’s recyclables, which we know reduces pollution and allows for the materials to be reused, it is also reducing its need for energy from fossil fuels.
Sounds like a win-win to me.
